Shaun Moorcroft is the Victoria State Manager at Australian Weighing Equipment.  With more than a decade of experience across software, automation, industrial weighing and process technology, Shaun brings a practical and technology-focused perspective to the weighing industry. Shaun entered the industry in 2012 as a software consultant and quickly developed a strong interest in industrial weighing. He transitioned into hands-on technical work as an apprentice scale technician before becoming a scale technician, combining field experience with a strong software and IT background. Throughout his career, Shaun has worked extensively across industrial weighing systems, PLC batching and automation projects, weighing software, technical sales, support, system specification, project delivery and technology integration. His experience spans both workshop and field environments as well as technical leadership and management roles. Since relocating to Australia in 2019, Shaun has focused on advancing weighing technology, software integration and automation solutions within the Australian market. In his current role with Australian Weighing Equipment, he works closely with industry to deliver practical, modern weighing and process solutions for industrial, manufacturing and bulk handling applications.
