Barry Elliott brings more than 50 years of experience in industrial weighing and packaging. After completing his apprenticeship with Richard Simon UK, an English engineering company specialising in all forms of weighing systems, he gained his City & Guilds Certificate in Electrical/Electronics. In 1979, he first worked with Concetti, at the time the official Richard Simon distributor in Italy. That same year, he set foot in Australia for the first time, commissioning 9 weigh feeders at the Lever Brothers plant in Campbelltown (NSW), before later relocating there permanently. Today he is Concetti's agent for Australia and New Zealand: over the past 15 years, together with Concetti's Australian team, his technical expertise and deep knowledge of the local market have made him a key figure in the company's expansion across these markets.
