Angelo is a Lead Application Engineer at LEAP Australia, leading the Bulk Solids modelling team and playing an active role in the Structures team. Specialising in applied computational engineering, his work includes providing technical consultation and training, with a focus on Discrete and Finite Element Method modelling. His project experience spans various bulk materials handling challenges, from optimising flow through transfer stations, to reducing system power draw in comminution processes, as well as assessing structural performance under operational and dynamic loading conditions. Over his time at LEAP Australia, Angelo has worked closely with a wide range of Ansys customers across Australia and New Zealand, developing particular expertise in DEM calibration workflows, underpinned by flowability and shear cell testing.
