Lauren has been working at Volvo Group in the commercial transport sector for 17 years, both in Australia and internationally across the Asia Pacific region and Europe.
Over this time Lauren has gained extensive experience in supporting operators, cities and governments plan and begin implementation of their decarbonisation and sustainability journeys, including low and zero emission technologies. She has been the project lead on a number of battery electric vehicle rollouts.
Currently Lauren is the Vice President of Public Affairs for Volvo Group Australia (VGA) and in this role works across all of the Volvo Group business units including Volvo Trucks, Buses, Volvo Penta Marine and Industrial Engines, and Construction Equipment.
Lauren is currently a member of the QLD Manufacturing Ministerial Council, is a Women in Manufacturing Ambassador and Volvo Group Reconciliation Action Plan Champion. She is passionate about promoting the heavy transport industry, sustainability and shaping the world we want to live in together.
