Last chance to nominate for the 2020 Australian Bulk Handling Awards

There is only one day left to nominate for the 2020 Australian Bulk Handling Awards, as entries close this Friday 28 February.

The awards are the only program dedicated solely to showcasing the innovations and excellence of Australia’s bulk handling sector.

Sponsored by SEW Eurodrive and VEGA Australia and supported by the Australian Society for Bulk Solids Handling, will take place at BULK2020 on 2 April.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner at The Arts Centre in Melbourne. It will provide the perfect opportunity to network with key bulk handling decision makers.

This year’s awards will also be held in conjunction with the Mercury Awards, which recognises the achievements of companies across the logistics, supply chain and materials handling sectors.

Nominations are free and are currently open for the following categories:

INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
A technology designed to enhance bulk solids handling and processing.

DUST CONTROL TECHNOLOGY, APPLICATION OR PRACTICE
A project that helps to keep dust creation in the bulk solids handling process to a minimum.

EXCELLENCE IN THE APPLICATION OF GEARS, MOTORS OR DRIVES
A component or piece of equipment that provides a benefit to bulk solids handling operations.

EXCELLENCE IN TRANSPORT AND/OR CONVEYING
A piece of equipment or conveying technology that moves bulk solids materials from one location to another.

BEST PRACTICE IN SAFETY
A project or program that emphasises and upholds industry safety standards.

SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR
A supplier that is excelling in the bulk solids handling sector.

BULK HANDLING FACILITY OF THE YEAR
An outstanding facility that is for the processing of bulk solids materials, or manufacture of materials using bulk solids goods.
